Order & Delivery


We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Please note your caviar order is tax exempt; all other items, including caviar gift boxes and the caviar placed therein, are charged sales tax at the rate applicable to the state of delivery. No cancellation or changes within 48 hours of shipping date.

Shipping and Handling

Orders placed by 11:00 AM EST Monday through Wednesday will be processed for delivery within 48 hours. Under certain circumstances, it might be possible to accommodate requests for next-day delivery, if placed by 11:00 AM EST. Please write info@pointysnout.com to make such requests, and wait for a confirmation. Please note: we do not ship overnight on Saturday or Sunday.

FedEx requires a signature for all deliveries and will not leave a package without one unless you have checked the “permission to leave package without signature” box. FedEx also requires a phone number at the delivery location, and additional information if your order is to be delivered to an apartment, a gated community, or other locations with special security requirements. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, nor can we ship outside the US or to Puerto Rico.

You will receive a FedEx tracking number upon shipment of your order. If appropriate, we will inform you of any delay in delivering your order due to circumstances beyond our control, such as FedEx operational issues or inclement weather.

Loss or Delay

Should FedEx or another delivery company delay or lose your merchandise once your order has left our premises, we cannot accept responsibility for its replacement. If you would like to add insurance, you may so indicate on your order.


You should inspect your order immediately upon its arrival. If the shipping package has been damaged in such a way as to have damaged the caviar tin, or if the merchandize you receive does not correspond to what you ordered, please write info@pointysnout.com within 24 hours of delivery. Please include a day-time phone number. Once we have been in touch with you, we will issue a return authorization code, if appropriate, along with a return shipping address. We will not accept a return without this code. We cannot credit or exchange any partially consumed or discarded items. Please keep all packaging intact for returns. If returns are approved, you must return to us all perishable products, properly packed with frozen gel ice in an insulated shipping box, via FedEx SOS. Once we receive your returned product, accompanied by the relevant return authorization code, we will re-ship merchandise or issue a credit.

Holiday Orders

We cannot ship packages for delivery on the following holidays or the day thereafter: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
