The Salon: Art + Design Vernissage
Pointy Snout Caviar delights art collectors at the Park Avenue Armory.
Prying art collectors away from art is no easy feat, but our Caviar Avancé did exactly that at The Salon: Art+Design Vernissage Party held within the Park Avenue Armory. Chef Kristofer Kalas’ caviar and green pea blinis, and white chocolate covered caviar bonbons had VIP visitors quite literally running out to purchase tins of Pointy Snout at nearby Bergdorf Goodman. Those who stayed were privy to expert mixologist Nicolas de Soto’s caviar service. Vernissage attendees hailed from across the globe, some in pursuit of rare 18th century French paintings, others with the sole aim of acquiring contemporary German furniture, but disparate tastes converged over spoonfuls of Pointy Snout Caviar, which as of now, represents the only edible art shown at The Armory—no bidding war required.
