Architectural Digest’s Salon Art + Design Luncheon

Designers converge over caviar croquettes at the Park Avenue Armory.

Over sturgeon mousse layered with Pointy Snout caviar, truffle potato croquettes, parsnip puree, and lemon meringue tartlets, a selection of international designers discussed the merits of De Stijl vs. Bauhaus, French Art Deco vs. Scandinavian Modern.  The luncheon, hosted by Architectural Digest editor Marget Russell and much-lauded French interior designer Jacques Grange, precluded an exclusive preview of The Salon: Art + Design—Park Avenue Armory’s annual fair of art from antiquity to the present day.
